Type A -
If you studied (SSC and HSC) in Maharashtra, you fall under Type A
🏫 Home University Your Home University depends on where you passed your HSC exam
Example -
You studied her 10th and 12th standard in Pune, Maharashtra.
➡️ You falls under Type A, and your Home University will be Savitribai Phule Pune University (as per your exam location)
Type B -
If you or your parents have a Maharashtra domicile certificate but you studied outside
Maharashtra, you’re Type B
🏫 Home University Your Home University depends on your domicile issuing location of your parents
Example -
You did your schooling in Delhi, but your father has a Maharashtra domicile certificate from Nagpur.
➡️ You falls under Type B, and your Home University will be Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj University, Nagpur (As per domicile issuing authority location)
Type C -
If your parent works for the Central Government and is posted in Maharashtra, you’re Type C
🏫 Home University Home University depends on your parent's posting location
Example -
Your mother works in Railways (Central Government) and is currently posted in Solapur
➡️ You falls under Type C, and your Home University will be Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar Solapur University
Type D -
If your parent works (or retired) from the Maharashtra Government, even if posted outside Maharashtra, you're Type D
🏫 Home University Home University is based on your parent's posting or settlement place
Example -
Your father works in Delhi on deputation of Maharashtra State Government. Your fathers place of last posting before deputing outside Maharashtra was Kolhapur
➡️ You falls under Type D, and your Home University will be Shivaji University, Kolhapur
Type E -
Students from Maharashtra-Karnataka Border areas, speaking Marathi, fall under Type E
🏫 Home University No applicable. You’ll be considered under Outside Home University or State Level Seats
Example -
You studied in a school in the Belgaon, Maharashtra-Karnataka border and speaks Marathi at home
➡️ You falls under Type E, and don't assigned any Home University - You will only be considered under Outside Home University / State Level Seats
